Ang Lee, the Magician

It has been a long time that EE department in National Taiwan Universityis ranks #1. Students are proud of being members of it.

I designed this for NTUEE yearbook 2002. 102 stand for "graduate in 2002". The diagram of "Distance visual acuity test" is blurred except two letters "E E" to imply that EE is the focus, And the sentence in Chinese characters came from a famous slogan of makeup commercial, which says "you can come closer". The series of identical shapes is used to communicate the idea "different levels of focus". It crosses the time line where the years we were in school(1997~2002) is clearer than others. The idea I tried to communicate is that not only NTUEE gets most attention, but also NTUEE"102" is the focus of focus. We were, are, and we will be the best, in all ways.
